Kulfi Bliss – Frozen Dessert Branding

Overview

Kulfi Bliss is a playful dessert branding project inspired by traditional South Asian kulfi flavors and modern visual aesthetics. The identity was designed to feel warm, approachable, and culturally expressive while remaining clean and adaptable for packaging and digital use.

Approach

The logo creatively integrates kulfi illustrations into the wordmark by replacing the letter “I,” directly connecting the product with the brand identity. A pastel-inspired color palette was selected to reflect familiar kulfi flavors such as pista, malai, and mango, helping create a soft and inviting visual experience.

Typography combines a handwritten script style with a rounded sans-serif typeface to balance personality and readability. The circular badge format was developed to create a cohesive and flexible logo system suitable for packaging, labels, and social media applications.

Challenges

A key challenge was balancing playful, dessert-inspired visuals with a clean and recognizable identity system. The branding needed to communicate cultural warmth and fun while maintaining enough simplicity to work effectively across packaging and small-scale print applications.
