Minicooks Mobile App

Overview

Minicooks is a mobile application tailored for college students who are short on time but still want to enjoy home-cooked meals. The app provides a collection of easy and quick recipes that can be prepared using common electronic appliances like air fryers and toasters. By focusing on convenience, the app empowers students to cook efficiently without compromising on taste or nutrition.

Approach

To address these challenges, I began by conducting thorough research on the target audience, resulting in the creation of a detailed user persona. From there, I developed a sitemap that laid the foundation for a clear and organized app structure. The wireframes were then crafted to visualize the user flow and interface elements, ensuring functionality and ease of use. The onboarding process was designed to quickly familiarize users with the app’s features, and the final app mockups were developed to reflect a clean, modern design that resonates with the student demographic. Throughout the project, the focus remained on creating a user-friendly experience that simplifies cooking for busy college students.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to design an app that not only caters to the limited time and resources of college students but also ensures that the cooking process remains enjoyable and stress-free. Additionally, the app needed to be highly intuitive, minimizing the learning curve for users who may not be experienced cooks.
